Pluteo - the Latin word for "shelf"
After running a passion product business and seeing how difficult it was to get on shelves, I had a "wouldn't it be nice if....." moment. If my small business could look bigger than it is by being on shelves all over Sydney.
You can be as "big" as you want. Our Mission: To be the leading access point for Stockists to use available space for income and for product owners to have access to spots on shelves irrespective of their business size.

Why not use that empty shelf or rows of shelves earning you income?
At worst - you only make rent.
At best - you make rent + the profit upfront and pay the wholesale difference in arrears.
This way instead of paying in advance and taking weeks or months to sell a box of products, you have the spot earning you income AND you receive the retail sale when the product sells.
If the product doesn't sell, you give the product back to the product owner. Your only expense is to pay the wholesale amount for the product at the end of the tenancy.
Maybe the product will be so successful that you ask to bring more of the product in for that shelf and keep making profit from it!
Benefits for Product Owners
With Pluteo, Product owners are not stuck into a long-term retail shop rent in one area. You can be on a shelf in many shops all at the same time.
- Choose your retailer in the shop and area you want to be in
- Set your own wholesale cost and
- Use the placement of the product on your website and socials to sell! If it doesn't work and your product isn't selling, you can get your stock back and choose a different retailer again.
